You're in Shelton, WA. Now what?
Why not check out Little Creek Casino, only 10 minutes drive away south on Highway 101 South. A full resort, this casino has much to offer, from top live entertainment acts, to major fighting events. And while you're there, be sure to also check out the supporting Squaxin Tribe and their Museum Library and Research Center (MLRC) and learn about their heritage and the area. Perhaps you're in the mood for a movie but still want to experience some of the outdoors. If this is the case, you're in luck! Only a few minutes away south on Highway 101, you'll find the Skyline Drive-in, a classic drive-in movie theater. For showtimes and additional information, check out their website.
How about a little nature...or rather, a LOT of nature? You'll be pleasantly surprised with the wealth of local, State, and National Parks in the area. Olympic National Park, home to the majestic Olympic Mountains, is a great place to hike, camp, fish, and simply revel in the outdoors. Nearby Potlatch State Park is a great place to go and check out the lower Hood Canal and try your hand at clamming.
